JP joined Rainbow Energy Center with previous experience at Coal Creek Station while working nearly 5 years for Great River Energy with roles in project management, finance, and business analytics. He spent the next 3 years as a Marketing Manager for Marathon Petroleum overseeing marketing operations for the Mandan and St. Paul Park refineries while serving on multiple Bismarck area board of directors. These roles encompassed contract negotiations, optimization analysis for oil and gas products in the region, and relationship growth and management with a customer base across the upper Midwest. His role is to develop opportunities and execute on project goals to maximize the assets that are Coal Creek Station and the Nexus Line.

JP holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Mary and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
