Rainbow Energy Center is community-focused and strives to make a meaningful impact on the places we live and work. We are proudly responsible for over 600 direct jobs in North Dakota and $1.5 billion* in total business activity. We invest in local communities to help keep them sustainable, vibrant, and strong.

Annual Scholarship Opportunities

Rainbow Energy Center is offering scholarships for graduating seniors who are pursuing a four-year or vocational-technical degree in North Dakota.

This year, Rainbow Energy Center will be awarding up to nine (9) $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from the following high schools: Beulah, Center-Stanton, Garrison, Hazen, Max, Turtle Lake-Mercer, Underwood, Washburn And Wilton.

Scholarship applications are available from guidance counselors at the above high schools, or at www.rainbowenergycenter.com.

Concrete Donation Program

We donate thousands of tons of fly ash per year to use for concrete for local community projects, like local hospitals, golf courses, schools, basketball courts, community parks, and much more.

Volunteer Program

We support the communities we live and work in. All employees are eligible to participate in pre-approved volunteer activities with pay.

Scholarships and Giving

We offer scholarships for graduating seniors from surrounding communities. We also have a charitable giving program to give back to the organizations that help keep our communities strong and growing.

Blood Drives

We host on-site blood drives. Employees can attend these blood drives during work hours, with pay, making their donation as convenient as possible.
