Rainbow Energy Center is community-focused and strives to make a meaningful impact on the places we live and work. We are proudly responsible for over 600 direct jobs in North Dakota and $1.5 billion* in total business activity. We invest in local communities to help keep them sustainable, vibrant, and strong.
Not only will we continue to give back to your communities but we are economical leaders. Coal Creek Station provides affordable energy to the Upper Midwest while complying with all federal and state environmental standards.
Rainbow Energy Center is offering scholarships for graduating seniors who are pursuing a four-year or vocational-technical degree in North Dakota.
This year, Rainbow Energy Center will be awarding up to nine (9) $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from the following high schools: Beulah, Center-Stanton, Garrison, Hazen, Max, Turtle Lake-Mercer, Underwood, Washburn And Wilton.
Scholarship applications are available from guidance counselors at the above high schools, or at www.rainbowenergycenter.com.
Applicants do not need to be related to a Rainbow Energy Center employee. For more information, contact Alyson Teigen at Alyson.Teigen@Rainbowenergycenter.com
We donate thousands of tons of fly ash per year to use for concrete for local community projects, like local hospitals, golf courses, schools, basketball courts, community parks, and much more.
We support the communities we live and work in. All employees are eligible to participate in pre-approved volunteer activities with pay.
We offer scholarships for graduating seniors from surrounding communities. We also have a charitable giving program to give back to the organizations that help keep our communities strong and growing.
We host on-site blood drives. Employees can attend these blood drives during work hours, with pay, making their donation as convenient as possible.
Giving back to the organizations that help keep our communities strong and growing is important to us. We know without charitable programs and non-profit services, the communities where we live would not thrive as they do. That’s why we encourage organizations like these to reach out when funding is needed.
